Interesting shit ain't it...We can get aid to people half way round the freakin' world, but its taking FIVE FUCKIN DAYS to help those in our own back yard....Damn fuckin sorry, there folks.

What does this say about us, as a people? Not only The Republicans...The Democrats..The whites, the blacks, the Blues the Reds the fuckin polkdots...US! THE AMERICAN PEOPLE! All That we are the world shit don't mean a goddamn thing when you leave your brother dying in a disaster.

I'm truely heartsick...when entertainers can drop what they are doing and go into the area and help out, but our own government drags their feet....our brothers and sisters need your help. not in five days...NOW!

I worked for FEMA during last years hurricanes, and if I'm given the opportunity, I am willing to leave the current position I hold, to do it again. Why?
Because, that was the only job (FEMA) where I truely felt that I ever did some good. Even though I worked 10-12 hours a day, 6-7 days a week, I still went home with a sense of self worth.

So before they start the finger pointing, Mr. Sharpton, Mr. Jackson, I don't see you out there helping the people now...I don't see you out there Ministering to the brethren when they could use the guidance....So don't say you speak for the people when its over....its too late then...GET YOUR ASSES IN GEAR, NOW!

FOR THE DEAD...THE LIVING......THE THOSE WHO NEED OUR HELP
GREAT SPIRIT, MAKER OF ALL LIFE, SHOW US THE WAY
BECAUSE OUR LEADERS SURELY AREN'T!

What's in a day?
Like the Oingo Boingo song..."It's just another Day"...isn't it? I mean, does it get to a point where the "Happy Birthdays" get, for lack of a better term...old?

The way I see it, why wait till a certain day, soon as that damn calender hits January 1st...I'm another year older. Waiting for that certain day is just a freaking formality. Hell, most people don't want to be reminded of it, and get down right hostile if you do. Me, it doesn't matter. It's just another day. I've come to the point, where even my family ...if you can call em that...don't even call me anymore. That stopped some years back. Funny things is, it doesn't even bother me.

Another day older, and deeper in debt...Doesn't another song say that. Well that's if you want to take the baleful way out. Me, I just see it as just another day. One that comes with a little cake, maybe some ice cream, and if I'm lucky, some good eats..

Yeah, I'm turning 44..but I still feel and act as I did when I was 21....now if only I could convince my body of the same thing...

PEACE...

The idea of the weekend...
Well is it just me, or do two days seem like too little a time to wind down from a week of "I need this.." Or "Damn it! What am I paying you people for?!"
You go the whole week, just to get two days to play, run errands, wash the car (which I didn't get a chance to do!), or just be a bum and sit around and veg...So, why, is it that it seems to go so damn fast?

I'll tell you why, BECAUSE ITS JUST TWO FUCKING DAYS!

I mean come on, shouldn't Friday, by rights be part of the damn weekend? Shouldn't we work at least HALF A DAMN DAY?

At least half a day....That's not asking for much, is it?
Hell, we'd spend most of the time on the freeway just trying to escape the workplace, but atleast we'd be doing something other than the pursuit of the almighty greenbacks.

I put it to the American public....GIVE US HALF A FREAKING DAY!

And now I'm going to piss off the Catholics....

Did ya see the new Pope give the official "okie doke" to Enzo Ferrari's creation?
Ya...The Ride of the rich masses is now the official ride of the papalcy.....HAHAHAHAHA!
If that isn't the biggest fucking piece of hypocrisy I have ever seen, I don't know what is.

So much for them vows of poverty...Eh?

Whatever happened to non-materialistic means? And they wonder why I pulled away from the Catholic faith....When a priest lambaste the congragation and tries to make em feel bad because the Church needs a new roof...Telling these people with families that they should be giving up a third of their income...ANNUAL INCOME....And then said same Priest is driving by in a BRAND NEW TRANS-AM, while my hard working ass is walking to work....I got three words for ya buddy....

KISS MY ASS!

Sorry, but if they can afford to buy you a new tranny........They can afford to buy you a new freaking roof!

PEACE!

The 40 mile drive...thats what I do. every day, each way. to and fro...(who says "fro" anymore?). Anywhoo, I've come to notice some very interesting things on that thing we call a freeway. One of which is, dogs as passengers. You know they must both love and hate the ride. Love it for the wind in their faces..the freedom of movement...all the things to see.
Hate it for the quick stops. I mean dig it..they got no thumbs..so you know their going to fall. Imagine they're sitting there, chilling with a nice breeze, and "BLAM!" quick stop! They slide off the seat. Ya just know they're thinking..."bastards!"
Ahh..if they could only talk..you wanna hear a blue streak...I bet they'd have some choice words for that guy who gets on the freeway and takes the term "slow lane" literally.

I heard a child on the other end of the line, at work today...Remember when all we had to worry about was what we were going to get for our birthday and christmas? Ah, simpler times....Now its, What's my co-pay? How much is this going to cost me? Was that mole there yesterday?

But I digress. I look at my dogs, they get up, they eat, sleep and shit. Just like babies. All they worry about is when are they going to eat next. Just like babies. All this without oppossable thumbs.

Imagine what they could do if they had thumbs....

As I start this paltry little bog of a blog, I begin with trepidation...I don't really open up well.

First off, I'll begin with me...I'm a native Californian, married, 14 years, to a great gal, no children...Not for lack of trying..Just didn't happen.
We have two dogs, Bruno, a 146 pound German Shepard/chow mix, and Bear a 98 pound German Shepard / golden retriever mix....Those are my boys...Guess you could say they are our children, they act like spoiled brats.
I make a daily commute to and from my job with a major health insurance company, 40 miles each way....And still I'm sane...Somewhat.

The job I do is interesting...But more about that later

I'm an avid collector, of many things...Comics, t-shirts with interesting and fun sayings, native American art and weapons, swords..And all things wolves.

This is just a brief intro, so I'll keep it short...I titled the blog, I was just thinking...Because that's what I do..I think..I joke...I kibitz....

Mostly...I'm having an interesting time.

Peace.
